Certified protection
IP68: The highest level of protection for a smartphone case in everyday use. The number 6 refers to dust and offers the highest level of protection against dust and other particles. The number 8 refers to water and offers the second-highest level of protection against water ingress.

Mil SPEC 810G: This is a standard set by the US military that includes over 20 laboratory tests. The EIGER Avalanche Case is tested under these standards for water ingress with tests 506.50 for rain protection and test 512.5 for immersion in water.
