The branch line socket (single socket) is remote power supply compatible, max. 24V / 500mA, with low connection attenuation (average 5 dB) and complies with EDU 04F. It is suitable for applications up to 2400 MHz and for applications from the company Hirschmann (designations in parentheses).

The socket features a jack (RF) and a plug (TV or SAT), but does not include an F-jack. It can be used to connect a radio receiver and a television receiver or satellite receiver.

The future-proof super broadband technology supports frequencies up to 2400 MHz and is suitable for coaxial cables with outer conductors up to 5.5 mm.

The antenna sockets are suitable for connecting a satellite reception system, a terrestrial reception system, or a cable connection. They are return channel compatible for a frequency range of 4 MHz to 30 MHz.

The jack and plug are manufactured according to IEC 169-2 and comply with the regulations DIN VDE 0855, Part 10 and Part 12. The antenna sockets are DBP approved.

The widely opening support ring allows for easy, kink-free insertion of the coaxial cable. In principle, branch line sockets should only be used for star wiring. At the end of a main line, a main line socket with termination resistance should be used.
