The compact 4-button keychain remote control allows for convenient operation of Homematic IP receivers from a considerable distance. Through a CCU2/CCU3, Homematic devices can also be controlled. Note: This is a kit that still needs to be assembled! It is particularly robust, made from fiberglass-reinforced material, and can be used in a very wide temperature range. Using a standard AAA battery results in a battery life of about 2 years under typical usage. This universally applicable wireless remote control features 4 freely configurable buttons. Reliable operation at ambient temperatures from -10 to +55 °C allows for permanent use in vehicles, for example. Its attachment to the keychain ensures it is always within reach. Long battery life is achieved by using a standard AAA battery. Direct confirmation of radio commands is provided via the multicolor device LED. The fiberglass-reinforced and halogen-free material ensures optimal stability and environmental compatibility. Comfortable configuration and linking can be done via the Homematic IP app (Homematic IP Access Point required) or Smart Home centers (CCU2/CCU3, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, or partner solutions). High radio range of up to 200 m (in open field). No soldering is required for this ARR kit. The assembly is limited to a few mechanical mounting steps. Operation requires connection to one of the following solutions: Homematic IP Access Point with a free smartphone app and free cloud service, CCU2/CCU3 central unit with local user interface WebUI, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, or third-party partner solutions. What does ARR kit mean? ARR stands for "almost ready to run," meaning "almost finished kit." Only a few or no electronic components need to be assembled.
