The LTD EC-401 clearly showcases its strengths in the rock and metal genres. The popular pickup configuration with an active EMG60 at the neck and EMG81 at the bridge provides plenty of punch. The mahogany body with a carved top and set mahogany neck is reminiscent of the classic Les Paul. The single-cut design allows for easy access to the higher frets.
The EC-401 is lighter in weight, which is very beneficial during live performances.
