The heads of the EC2 series are two-ply with a thickness of 7mil, offering optimized tone, sustain, and attack as well as head tension for each tom size. The Sound Shaping Technology SST with the Edge Control Ring on the underside of the heads allows for a very balanced sound.

The keepdrum KDP Damper Pads Set for head damping includes 5 pieces. The keepdrum Damper Pad Set consists of 5 self-adhesive rubber pads that can be placed on the drumhead according to sound preference to influence the head's vibration behavior. The pads are self-adhesive and can be reused multiple times. They can be easily applied to heads or cymbals, thus eliminating unwanted overtones depending on their placement. The damper pads have a diameter of 25mm and are 2.3mm thick. To maintain the adhesive strength of the pads for as long as possible, the surface should be as clean and grease-free as possible before application.
