The BQ series models represent the mid-range in the power supply portfolio and are available with continuous power ratings of 500, 600, 650, 850, and 850 watts. All EVGA BQ units meet the requirements of 80 PLUS Bronze and achieve at least 85 percent efficiency at medium load. Compared to older Bronze power supplies, EVGA primarily offers improved voltage regulation, which modern components greatly appreciate. Thanks to DC-DC down-conversion, +3.3V and +5V outputs are regulated independently, enhancing their suitability for asymmetric loads that are almost constantly present in modern systems. Thus, EVGA BQ power supplies are also officially compatible with modern Intel platforms.
