The PCI-Express FireWire 1394A (FireWire400) card provides two external and one internal FireWire 1394A port. It is designed to expand PCs, small workstations, or servers with three additional FireWire 1394A high-speed ports via the PCI-Express bus, allowing the connection of FireWire 1394A devices such as digital camcorders or high-resolution color printers. The EX-16450 offers a fast I/O solution, enabling users to connect high-speed peripherals. It also includes an internal motherboard-compatible connector for FireWire front bay hubs. The EX-16450 comes with a low-profile bracket for slim computer cases up to 8 cm in height.
