The EX-42374 PCI I/O card provides four serial RS-232, 422, and 485 high-performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It is designed to expand four additional serial combo ports for PCs, workstations, or servers via the PCI bus. The card is fully PCI or PCI-X plug-and-play compatible and has no conflicts with IRQ and I/O addresses. It supports ATTA Auto RS-485 transmitter features. Additionally, +5V or +12V can be configured on pin 9 of the serial RS-232 connector for a POS system (Power over System).
