Fantec WR-C3141-6G Backplane for 4x 3.5"/2.5" HDD/SSD. Backplane systems are used in servers and allow for easy installation and replacement of hard drives. The plug-in technology of the drive bays integrates the hard drives into the system via connectors rather than the usual cable connections. This enables tool-free and straightforward replacement of the hard drives without needing to open the server case. The hot-swap technology additionally allows for the exchange and swapping of hard drives while the system is running.
