Audio Transmitter, Receiver, and Converter ABT00102

The ABT00102 can be used as a transmitter, receiver, or converter. It features analog 3.5mm jack and digital SPDIF Toslink connections, each with two inputs and outputs. The device supports modern and older audio devices with the codecs SBC, aptX, aptX Low Latency, and aptX HD, ensuring high-quality and low-latency audio transmission.

In transmitter mode (TX), the ABT00102 wirelessly transmits audio signals from televisions or consoles to headphones, making it ideal for gaming, watching TV, or enjoying music. In receiver mode (RX), it allows music playback from a smartphone through HiFi systems, with direct control over volume and tracks. In bypass mode, the adapter can convert digital signals (SPDIF) to analog signals (jack) and vice versa or loop audio signals through.

The device supports Multipoint and Dualpoint, allowing two devices to be connected simultaneously. The automatic codec selection prioritizes aptX HD for the best sound quality or aptX Low Latency when minimal delays are necessary. The range is approximately 15 meters in receiver mode and up to 50 meters when transmitting outdoors.

The ABT00102 is excellent for use with televisions, where the audio should be set to PCM/stereo, as Dolby Digital or Bitstream are not supported. It can also be used as a wireless connection between audio sources and active speakers. In RX mode, the buttons can be used for control, while they are disabled in TX mode.

Technically, the adapter is based on the high-quality CSR BC8675 chipset and supports A2DP and AVRCP in receiver mode. Its dimensions are 134 × 27 × 74 mm without antennas. Power is supplied via USB, but a power adapter is not included.
