The VME00110 enables HDMI transmission over a LAN cable, ideal for distances up to 70 m at Full HD or 40 m at 4K 30Hz HDR. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver that transmit the HDMI signal over an Ethernet cable (CAT5e or better). The transmitter connects to the HDMI source and sends the signal to the receiver, which converts it back to HDMI. The receiver is powered via the network cable and simultaneously supports infrared transmission for remote control, allowing the source to be controlled from a distance. The system supports a maximum data rate of 10.2 Gbps and video resolutions up to 4K 30Hz or 1080p 60Hz. Audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, and PCM 7.1 are supported. An EDID switch allows for audio and video format optimization depending on the connected display. For optimal performance, a shielded network cable is recommended, and no active network components like switches should be used. The VME00110 is compatible with HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 and is suitable for transmitting SDR and HDR content up to 10 bits. The receiver is powered over the network cable (POC), with a maximum power consumption of 1.86 W for the transmitter and only 0.87 W for the receiver.
