Guitarist, producer, and arranger Cory Wong is known for his incredible funk chops and inventive lead work. His soulful playing with Vulfpeck, along with his Grammy-nominated solo work, has earned him a loyal following and led to sold-out arena performances.

The satin finish in Sapphire Blue Transparent replicates the look and feel of Cory's beloved original Strat, while the slightly smaller alder body—smaller than a typical Stratocaster—combined with the American Ultra Modern "D" neck and contoured body shapes provides a comfortable playing experience. A set of Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine pickups delivers classic Strat quack and chime, finely tuned to achieve his distinctive tone.

Additional features include a maple neck with a subtly modified headstock shape, a rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and a compound 10-14" radius, a synchronized 6-screw vintage-style tremolo, Deluxe Locking Tuners for improved tuning stability and easy string changes, and a push/push pot on Tone 2 that bypasses the 5-way switch and is set to "Position 4" by default. Also included are a Cory Wong hair tie (to dampen the tremolo springs for achieving Cory's rhythmic tone), a rubber pulley set, and a custom neck plate.
