Due to the high demand for a true artist paper with the character of a photographic paper, Hahnemühle FineArt has developed Fine Art Pearl. It is a fiber-based paper that has the appearance and feel of traditional baryta photographic paper. It meets photographers' desires for FineArt media that resemble traditional, bright white, and glossy photographic papers, but like all Hahnemühle papers, it is extremely durable and archival.

Fine Art Pearl has a weight of 285 g/m², is made from 100 percent pure, lignin-free alpha cellulose, and is triple-coated. The paper has a surface comparable to traditional silver gelatin papers.
