The Ixxat USB-to-CAN V2 Compact is a straightforward and cost-effective way to connect a computer to a CAN bus network and serves as a highly reliable workhorse for CAN applications, such as testing, development, maintenance, or control applications. Galvanic isolation effectively protects the device from damage to the electronics due to voltage spikes. The VCI V4 (Virtual Communication Interface) is the driver interface for Ixxat interfaces under Windows and can be downloaded for free. Based on the VCI, custom applications for communication over CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Industrial Ethernet can be developed.
