The Metrologic MS5145-Eclipse is a single line handheld laser scanner. The Eclipse is equipped with Metrologic's patented CodeGade technology, offering a wide range of applications. CodeGate technology allows the user to easily scan the desired barcode and perform data transmission with a simple push of the CodeGate button. This combination makes Eclipse ideal for POS, menu scanning, document capture and inventory activities. The MS5145 Eclipse incorporates Metrologic's state-of-the-art scanner technology and features a longer read distance and wider scan field than a typical CCD scanner. The farther the scanner is from the bar code, the wider the scan line becomes. In addition, the laser beam pulses simplify barcode reading and when the scanner detects a barcode (CodeSens mode), the laser beam automatically switches to scan mode and activates the CodeGate function to achieve high reading speeds.
