The controller features 16 internal SAS lanes that allow connections to SAS or SATA drives. It supports mixed mode operation of RAID and HBA simultaneously and encrypts data at rest on all drives. The Smart Array P816i-a SR Gen10 Controller is excellent for optimizing performance.
