The H&Y RevoRing Black Mist 1/4 Filter is a high-quality camera lens accessory for photographers seeking subtle diffusion effects. This variable filter system features a diameter range of 58-77 mm, allowing compatibility with multiple lens sizes without step rings. The 1/4 Black Mist effect creates a gentle light diffusion that softens highlights while maintaining image sharpness and contrast—ideal for portrait photography and cinematic video applications. Constructed from high-quality optical glass, the filter offers excellent light transmission and minimal color cast. The multi-layer nanocoating technology ensures superior anti-reflective performance and protection against water, oil, and dust. The precision-crafted aluminum frame is only 4.5 mm thick, minimizing vignetting even with wide-angle lenses. The rotating mechanism allows for smooth adjustment of the mist effect intensity while maintaining consistent optical performance. This filter is particularly effective in reducing harsh digital sharpness, creating atmospheric scenes, and achieving professional image reproduction. The RevoRing system eliminates the need for multiple fixed-size filters, providing a versatile solution for photographers working with various lens diameters. The filter preserves accurate color reproduction and does not cause significant light loss, with a light transmission rate of about 98 percent. Compatible with most DSLR and mirrorless camera systems, this accessory is designed for professional photographers and advanced enthusiasts seeking reliable optical performance and creative flexibility in their imaging workflow.
