The iBasso SR3 is an open-back over-ear headphone that delivers a detailed, well-separated, and powerful sound. Tonally, the SR3 is naturally and evenly balanced, providing an engagingly vibrant and musical experience. From a technological standpoint, the SR3 offers several features: it is equipped with a carbon fiber mycelium diaphragm. This organic material has a higher stiffness than synthetic fibers, resulting in a particularly well-defined sound. The driver diaphragm is suspended in a liquid silicone suspension, allowing the headphone to achieve full dynamics and accurately position sounds within the soundstage. The driver diaphragm is powered by a strong Tesla magnetic circuit, ensuring extremely low distortion and high fidelity. The SR3 headphones are crafted to a very high standard. The ear cushions are wonderfully soft, and the clamping pressure of the ear cups is just right, making the SR3 comfortable even after long periods of wear. Included in the package is a high-quality braided headphone cable with a symmetrical 4.4 mm connector and a length of 1.6 meters. Also included is a 4.4 mm to 6.3 mm adapter and a second pair of ear cushions with an alternative sound signature.
