Hard drives in 2.5" format are becoming increasingly popular. Their storage capacity is growing. So it makes sense to use them in servers too. That is why we are now offering a backplane that fits into a 5.25" unit and accommodates four 2.5" SAS or SATA hard drives. The hard drive height can reach 15 mm - for the highest storage capacity.

Two host connectors each allow the operation of SAS hard disks in dual channel mode.

This is extremely stable even with very high data throughput. They are therefore particularly recommended for demanding applications in RAID systems. The temperature control is designed accordingly. The aluminium housing cools and the two 40 mm fans work reliably and quietly. Everything is as solid and secure as you would expect from the tried and tested backplanes for the big boys.
