The heat pipes are in direct contact with the M.2 SSD through the thermal pads to guarantee quick and efficient heat dissipation. Thanks to the combination of heat pipe, solid aluminum heatsink, and fan, the IB-M2HSF-702 can achieve a reduction in M.2 SSD temperature of up to 50%. A thermal pad functions similarly to thermal paste, enhancing the dissipation of waste heat from electronic components and significantly contributing to heat dissipation. These pads are particularly easy to install and remove.
