The additional silicone cover protects against damage in case of a fall. The installed storage is therefore ideally protected and can travel securely in your luggage. The USB Type-C connection allows for transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s, enabling super-fast data exchange. At the same time, the enclosure is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.

The IB-246-C31-G is an aluminum enclosure that can accommodate a 2.5" SATA hard drive. No tools are required for the installation of the SSD, making it quick and easy to do anywhere. SSDs or HDDs with a height of up to 9.5 mm can be installed.

Well protected
A silicone cover can be optionally placed around the enclosure. This not only provides a non-slip grip but also protects the installed hard drive from potential damage in the event of a fall. The silicone cover and a USB Type-C cable are included in the package.

High data throughput
With USB 3.2 (Gen 2), a data speed of up to 10 Gbit/s is available via the USB Type-C connection. This allows you to transfer your data from your SATA III SSD at about 550 MB/s. For illustration: This is equivalent to copying about 140 vacation photos in just one second.
