Product details

For connecting DisplayPort monitors to computers with a USB Type-C interface and DisplayPort Alternate Mode support. The USB Type-C to DisplayPort connector supports resolutions up to 3,840 x 2,160 @60Hz with RGB and YCbCr 4:4:4. Computers with Thunderbolt 3 are supported. Compatible with USB 3.1 and DisplayPort 1.2 standards for transmitting video and audio signals. USB powered, no power adapter needed. Gold-plated contacts, plug & play.

System requirements: Windows 7/8/10, Mac OS 10.9 and newer, PC with a free USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode, or PC with a free Thunderbolt 3 port. Note: Support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode is usually indicated by the DisplayPort logo (D) next to the Type-C port.
