It utilizes an integrated power loss protection capability to provide the SSD firmware with sufficient energy to move data from the transfer buffer and other buffers into the NAND, thereby protecting system and user data. Hardware encryption is a data encryption that occurs at the drive level. This secures the data stored on the drive from unwanted intrusions. End-to-End data protection ensures the integrity of the stored data from the computer to the SSD and back. Temperature monitoring and logging uses an internal temperature sensor to monitor and log air circulation and temperature within the device. The logged results can be retrieved via the SMART command.
