The Jinbei KE Quickly Open Deep Softbox is a softbox that provides soft light for fashion, beauty, glamour, and portrait photography. Unlike other softboxes, it produces more direct light with higher contrast and harder shadows on the subject. The softbox is equipped with the Bowens S-Type mount and is suitable for many battery/studio flash units or LED continuous lights with the appropriate connection. With its click mechanism for the rods, the light modifier can be easily and quickly set up, making it ready for use in the studio or on location. To set it up, you simply extend the rods until they click into place and attach the Deep Softbox to the light source. The easiest way to do this is to extend opposite rods one after the other. The softbox can also be disassembled just as easily: you lift the individual rods slightly at the speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.

The Jinbei KE Quickly Open Deep Softbox offers many possibilities for light shaping. The two included diffusers, the smaller inner diffuser and the front diffuser, scatter the light reflected by the silver inner coating and create soft shadow transitions for homogeneous illumination. They are particularly useful in portrait and beauty photography as they reduce the formation of reflections on smooth surfaces like skin. The 16-sided construction results in an almost round softbox shape, which is noticeable in the naturally appearing round light reflections in a model's eyes. With the included grid, you achieve a more intense, directed light. The grid allows you to illuminate your subject more precisely and with greater control. When using the honeycomb grid without diffusers, you work with harder, more contrasting, and more direct light.
