The insertable resistance thermometer with connection cable and handle allows for temperature measurement in almost all areas of food processing and preservation, thanks to the temperature-dependent electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and its robust, moisture-resistant construction. The probe tube, measuring 4.0 x 100 mm, is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and features a central measuring tip with a 25° angle. The mounted handle, with a diameter of 10 mm, is made of silicone and withstands temperatures up to +200 °C. Therefore, the resistance thermometer is preferably used for cooking, baking, and steaming processes. Other applications include autoclaves and sterilizers.

The resistance thermometer complies with DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is configured as 1 x Pt100 in a three-wire circuit, designed for temperatures ranging from -50 to +200 °C. The 4.0 m long silicone connection cable is shielded at the transition point and strain-relieved. The permissible ambient temperature for the connection cable is -50 to +180 °C. The open connection end is equipped with crimp terminals according to DIN 46228 Part 4. Additionally, the design is highly shock-resistant, and the handle used is oil and acid resistant.
