The JVC DLA-N5 D-ILA projector features a completely new design packed with the latest projection technology. With its new 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA device, the projector delivers high-definition native 4K resolution (4096 x 2160) images through an all-glass 65 mm diameter lens system. HDR10 content is projected at optimal quality thanks to the Auto Tone Mapping function, which automatically adjusts settings based on the mastering information. With a brightness of 1,800 lumens and a dynamic contrast ratio of 400,000:1, the projector reproduces lifelike images for the latest content, including HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma. The original motion control technology, Clear Motion Drive, has been enhanced, and combined with Motion Enhance, which optimizes the driving of the D-ILA device according to the motion of the image, significantly reduces motion blur compared to conventional projectors.

Der JVC DLA-N5 kann auf ganzer Linie überzeugen, er zeigt deutlich, dass sich der technische Vorsprung der Konkurrenz durchaus ein- und sogar überholen lässt. Er zeigt aber ebenso deutlich, dass Konkurrenz außer dem Geschäft eben auch den technischen Fortschritt belebt. Bleibt nur die Frage, ob und wie die beiden teureren Brüder dieses Debüt noch toppen sollen.
JVC hat dem DLA-B5B eine besonders gelungene HDR-Abstimmung verpasst. Bei klassischem HD liegt er eh nah an Studioperformance. Auch wenn 6000 Euro nicht gerade ein Einstiegspreis sind, bietet er dafür mehr Bildspaß als viele andere Beamer bis 10.000 Euro.
