With the Kathrein EXR 2908 Multiswitch 9 to 8, you acquire high-quality technology. The EXR 2908 multiswitch is suitable for receiving signals from two satellites and simultaneously distributing the signal to up to 8 participants, making it ideal for receiving Astra 19.2° and Hotbird 13°.

This cascaded multiswitch allows the distribution of 8 satellite levels and terrestrial signals to multiple receivers. Only one downlead is required per receiver (two downleads for twin receivers). Each receiver can independently select between horizontal/vertical, low/high, and satellite position A/B via DiSEqC control. When controlled without DiSEqC, switching between horizontal/vertical and low/high from satellite position A is possible, with Tone Burst additionally allowing for satellite position A/B switching.

It features an integrated amplifier for low connection losses in the satellite range and an integrated pre-emphasis for compensating cable attenuation. Terrestrial reception is possible even when the satellite receiver is turned off. The terrestrial range is 5-862 MHz, passive. There is high decoupling between the outputs. Remote powering is possible through the horizontal low inputs. All other inputs are voltage-free, enabling operation with UAS 485. Designed for indoor installation.
