Description: The VWS 2500 multiswitch features a fixed pre-amplification in the terrestrial amplifier section and a step-adjustable pre-amplification (2/4/6 dB) in each satellite amplifier section. It is characterized by low power consumption thanks to a highly efficient, short-circuit-proof power supply. The VWS 2500 is ideal for optimal signal supply at the input of larger multiswitch cascades or as a cascadeable distribution amplifier to compensate for cable or distribution pass loss in larger distribution networks.

Features include:

  • Step-adjustable attenuation controls (1 dB steps) in each amplifier section to adapt to different input levels
  • Fixed pre-amplification in the terrestrial amplifier section
  • Step-adjustable pre-amplification (2/4/6 dB) in each satellite amplifier section
  • Low power consumption due to a highly efficient, short-circuit-proof power supply
  • Capability for LNB remote powering via the horizontal low input, while all other inputs are voltage-free (allowing operation with UAS 585).
