With the Q11's split layout, you can position each side in the way that makes the most sense and is most ergonomic for you. You can also use it as a non-split keyboard by connecting the two halves with a jumper cable. The entire metal chassis is made from 6063 aluminium, which is CNC machined, polished, anodised, sandblasted and undergoes 24 other manufacturing steps to create the solid metal work of art that is the Q11. To build a fully customisable keyboard, we designed all components to be easy to assemble. So you can customise and adjust each component to your liking. A powerful, low-power ARM architecture MCU equipped with 128K flash gives developers more flexibility. The polling rate is 1000 Hz, so latency is barely noticeable even in competitive games. These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and an SA-like shape. We have named them OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycaps. The PBT keycaps provide excellent oil resistance, improve typing feel and prevent the labelling from fading. The Keychron Q11 was designed with Mac users in mind, but is also compatible with Windows devices. It features a system switch and an additional set of customised keycaps for Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
