The compression driver features a new phase plug design that enhances phase coherence at the horn throat, resulting in improved sound pressure linearity at high frequencies.

The newly designed Tractrix horn features a circular horn throat paired with a square horn mouth to further enhance high-frequency reproduction and extension while boosting imaging and dynamics. The compressed, molded rubber construction provides additional high-frequency damping to reduce harshness and improve detail, resulting in the cleanest, most natural sound possible.

The Cerametallic woofers represent the pinnacle of Klipsch driver design, characterized by exceptional stiffness and lightweight construction that minimizes cone breakup and distortion. When paired with the horn-loaded Tractrix compression driver, they achieve the highest speaker efficiency in their class.

Each 6.5" woofer features a heavy-duty aluminum cast frame for resonance-free operation.

The sophisticated design of the RC-64 III network attenuates the output of the outer woofer at higher frequencies to minimize horizontal off-axis distortion. This ensures a wide and even sound distribution, allowing every listener to hear the center channel information exactly as intended.

The RC-64 III cabinets are all made from furniture-grade wood veneers and are available in black ash, cherry, and walnut.
