Arland is a small kingdom on the edge of a vast land. It was once an isolated kingdom until ancient relics known as machines were discovered in the nearby ruins.

In this kingdom stands a forgotten workshop. This workshop was once very busy, but due to the discovery of the machines or perhaps because of the laziness of its owner, no customers come anymore.

One day, a messenger from the castle visits the workshop to deliver a message from the king. According to the message, the workshop will be closed if the owner cannot prove within three years that she is capable of doing her work.

However, even after this news, the workshop owner remained unmotivated. After offloading her responsibilities onto her apprentice, she leaves the workshop.
