The QD series of quick disconnects from Koolance allows for a very simple and practical way to interrupt the coolant circuit by simply pressing down a metal ring. Two QD3 quick disconnects made of black-painted brass are connected or separated (one male, one female), with Koolance developing valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are intended to ensure a degree of leak resistance. However, it should be noted that a hundred percent immediate sealing is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of liquid may escape.

This quick disconnect features a straight black female version with a hose connection via a compression nut, with an inner diameter of 13 mm and an outer diameter of 19 mm.
