In systems with NVMe support, this SSD shines particularly. You benefit from high throughput, high IOPS, and low latency. Unlike the older AHCI protocol, which was developed for traditional spinning drives, NVMe prevents performance drops, offers faster transfer of large data volumes, increased boot speeds, and improved system response times. This SSD transfers data using PCI-Express, leaving traditional SATA SSDs far behind in terms of transfer rates. M.2 SSDs are installed via the M.2 socket on the motherboard. Due to their compact dimensions, they are especially suitable for use in ultrabooks and mini PCs, but can also be used in regular computers.
