What is certain is that it will be one of the innovative devices in 2021. There are still one or two small weaknesses that need to be ironed out, such as the lack of a Thunderbolt port or the somewhat weak graphics...
The Thinkpad Fold X1 pleases with an innovative display concept. It is impressive to see how the hinge mechanism works when you fold the notebook. You don't get the impression that you are taking part in an experiment with an uncertain outcome. The device seems too mature for that...
For around 3330 euros, the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold is not a solid worker and certainly not a gaming machine - but a piece of the future. The device is the first of its kind. So you have to live with compromises. The smartphone sector has shown: It gets better with time and then also more affordable.
