Product details
Using industrial-grade components, Lexmark's surge protection device prevents harmful voltage spikes from reaching your Lexmark laser printer or MFP. Voltage surges can also occur on telecommunications lines, potentially damaging your devices. Therefore, our surge protection monitors the fax line connected to your Lexmark MFP.
Unlike standard consumer protection devices, the circuit board of Lexmark's surge protection device features two layers of fiberglass, which enhance flame resistance, as well as a thicker two-ounce copper layer that better distributes and dissipates heat. Additionally, insulating tape and fiberglass component covers are included as an extra layer of thermal protection during a power surge.
The specially designed housing of Lexmark's surge protection device offers higher flame resistance compared to many other protection devices. It also features a reinforced insulation construction with dual retention functions and is welded to prevent tampering.
Temperature melt fuses reduce the risk of short circuits in the event that a sustained or exceptionally high voltage surge causes internal components to overheat undesirably.
The integrated 1.5-meter connection cable for IEC devices can be directly connected to the power supply of a Lexmark device, while the existing power cable of your Lexmark device fits into the device's socket.
When the blue LED lights up, protection is active. If it does not light up, the device needs to be replaced.
