The Lindy 50m Cat.6 4 Port HDMI & IR Splitter Extender is a plug-and-play solution for extending an HDMI signal up to 50 meters and distributing the signal to four displays. It utilizes a cost-effective Cat.6 U/UTP cable (not included). Additionally, infrared signals (20-60 kHz) can also be extended using the included IR receiver and emitter cables.

The splitter extender supports resolutions up to 1920x1080, including 1080p 3D, and is designed for use in AV and digital signage applications at home, in education, in businesses, retail, and healthcare.

An integrated HDMI loop-through output on the transmitter allows for simultaneous display, enabling a local monitor to be connected for monitoring or an additional display area to be set up. For larger installations, the HDMI loop-through port can also be used to cascade up to 3 transmitters, connecting up to 12 displays to a single source. The HDMI loop-through port also allows the splitter extender to clone the EDID of a connected display. An integrated EDID emulation system provides 9 EDID presets for maximum compatibility with various EDID-capable devices.

Power over Cat.6 (PoC) ensures power for the entire installation by connecting a power supply to the transmitter – a perfect solution for retrofitting installations where, for example, the receiver does not have access to a power outlet. The power supply with a screwable DC barrel connector ensures a secure connection. The compact design of the splitter extender and the integrated mounting brackets facilitate installation in tight spaces or behind flat-screen displays.
