The Lindy USB to 4-Port Serial Converter allows you to connect four serial devices with a 9-pin RS232 port to the USB Type A port of a computer. Its functional design with connectors on the cable offers significantly more flexibility than ports on a housing. It is the perfect solution for connecting serial RS232 devices such as barcode scanners and other industrial equipment to laptops - in retail, IT, and digital signage environments.
The converter is compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems. Power is supplied via the USB bus, so an external power supply is not required.
