With the GEM30I series, we are expanding our portfolio to include high-quality and durable medical power supplies from Mean Well. The GEM power supplies are approved for medical devices of class BF with direct patient contact and meet the requirements of 2xMOPP. This means that the Mean Well power supply can be used in home environments as well as in portable medical devices for business trips or as part of global solutions where interchangeable plugs are required. Thanks to an interchangeable plug, the GEM power supplies can be used with four different plug types from Europe, the USA, the UK, and Australia, making them suitable for many countries worldwide. Additionally, the Mean Well power supply complies with current international energy-saving standards as well as the EU Ecodesign Directive. Other advantages of the plug-in power supplies include a very low leakage current of less than 100μA, a no-load consumption of less than 0.075W, and protection against short circuits, overload, and overvoltage. With a flame-retardant plastic housing according to UL 94V-0, the Class II power supply operates within a temperature range of -20 to +50°C. The Mean Well plug-in power supply is available with an 80-264VAC input and AC plug, measuring 75.5 x 39.1 x 56.2mm.
