Product details

This card is a single-chip PCI Express host controller that provides two SATA Gen III 6Gb/s channels, bringing server-class features to the desktop. It enables the use of the latest and fastest drives in the industry at 6Gb/s while also offering backward compatibility with older SATA 1.5Gb/s or 3Gb/s drives. It uses the same cables and connectors as previous SATA generations to facilitate integration. Additionally, PCI Express 2.0 doubles the bandwidth of the existing PCI Express bus for faster data transfers and enhances system performance for every computer user. Each PCI Express 2.0 lane offers a throughput rate of up to 500MB/s and is also backward compatible with the previous generation of PCI Express 1.0 technology.
