The Wireless Display Adapter v2 uses WLAN-certified Miracast technology, so you're not limited to specific apps or streaming specific content. You can view everything from your device on an HDTV or monitor. The adapter is also certified for Intel Wireless Display (Wi-Di) and supports Wi-Di compatible 2-in-1 devices and tablets.

Simply connect the Wireless Display Adapter v2 via USB and HDMI to your HDTV or monitor, connect and you can mirror or expand your display. The connection with the adapter works reliably at a distance of up to 7 meters.

Surface devices, including Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, Surface 3, Surface Pro 3, Surface 2, Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, and other Miracast compatible devices with Windows 10 or Windows 8.1. Devices that do not support HDPC do not support all features.

Software language versions: The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter app can be installed from the Windows Store in the following languages: Chinese (traditional and simplified), Dutch, Danish, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Portugal), Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Thai, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), French (Canada). If available, the app will be installed in the default language of the operating system. Otherwise the English language version will be installed.
