No modification is required; it is a simple plug and play solution. It features no printed brackets or sandwiches, a dual-drive train, hardened tool steel, and CNC precision cut gears. The extruder has an adjustable filament grip and allows for easy filament loading with a short, highly constrained filament path. It prints flexible filaments with high speed and accuracy, providing outstanding extrusion control. The lightweight aluminum body is compatible with the following models:

Important! Even though this upgrade should fit a specific model, printer manufacturers are known to change their specifications without notice. Ensure your motor has a removable extruder gear (with a grub screw and not pressed on the axis); if not, you might need to also buy a new motor for this upgrade.
