This license contains a user license and one phone license of any kind, including SIP, IP phones, softphones, as well as mobile extensions or MMC mobile clients. This provides full flexibility over time and offers the opportunity for the user to change the type of phone without the need to buy a new license. Note that basic users can also use a free-seating phone. However, free-seating phones must be licensed separately within the free-seating pool using regular user and phone licenses. The 'Basic User' license can be used on all call managers: Mitel 415/430/470 as well as Virtual Appliance. If used on a Mitel 470 or Virtual Appliance (new sales or migration), no additional regular user license will be required.
