The Modal Electronics Argon8 is a powerful 8-voice wavetable synthesizer with advanced sound design capabilities. Its DNA and heritage largely stem from the acclaimed Modal 002 model. The remarkably compact Argon8 is housed in a gig-ready steel and aluminum chassis, and its oscillator section features 120 carefully curated wavetable cores, enabling some of the most advanced sound-shaping possibilities through 28 different wavetable processors. It includes an enormous modulation matrix (12x52), three envelope generators, an arpeggiator, and a full-size 37-key FATAR keybed. The sound range covers anything from virtual analog classics to incredible EDM beats. Additionally, the Argon8 features a Class Compliant USB MIDI connection, allowing its use within an integrated system. The free ModalApp software editor is available for MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems as well as VST3 and AU plugin DAW applications.
