The modern model no longer features a split front door, which further emphasizes its simplicity. Both the side panels and the front door are effectively insulated. Behind the door, in addition to an efficient dust filter (when used with the door open), there is also an external 5.25" bay, allowing for the installation of an optical drive or other devices that require a 5.25" bay if necessary.

The Deep Silence 8 pro 3.1 offers three modular HDD cages, each capable of holding two HDDs or SSDs, as well as two slots for 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives under the power supply cover. The pre-installed fans ensure adequate ventilation for the system. As with the other models in the Deep Silence series, this is achieved through the side intake openings in the front.
