The Nektar Impact LX25+ is a versatile MIDI keyboard. It features knobs, pads, sliders, and transport buttons. The full-size keys are semi-weighted and velocity-sensitive, with four adjustable velocity curves. All keys, pads, and knobs are labeled, allowing for the customization of various parameters. It is suitable not only for virtual instrument plugins but also for virtual mixers and anything that requires mapping. All major DAWs can be used, with seamless integration possible from Cubase to Reason, FL Studio, Logic, and Sonar. Another compatible DAW is Bitwig 8-Track, which is even included. This entry-level DAW allows aspiring music producers to quickly dive into the subject and produce their own tracks. With the Nektar Impact LX25+, you can fly over the keys and record everything in Bitwig until you are satisfied with the result. The velocity-sensitive pads (backlit) are used for recording rhythms.
