Corrin appears in the game Fire Emblem Fates. Corrin was born in the Kingdom of Hoshido but was kidnapped by Nohr at a young age and raised by the Nohr royal family. Corrin is descended from the first dragons and has the power to transform into a dragon.

Nintendo characters can now come to life in many new ways as Amiibo figures. These are interactive figures that can communicate with specially designed games that have Amiibo compatibility simply by touching the Wii U GamePad.

Amiibo can interact with amiibo-compatible games when players touch them with the Wii U GamePad, allowing them to read data into games and save data in the figure. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, players can fight with or against their own amiibo figures and level them up. They can then bring them to another Wii U console and showcase how they have trained and customized their own amiibo figures. Different amiibo-compatible games use amiibo in various ways. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be the first game to utilize amiibo. Games like Mario Party 10, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Yoshi's Woolly World are also expected to support amiibo.
