A built-in camera in the kart streams the race live to the screen of your Nintendo Switch console or your television. Experience firsthand how your home transforms into ocean depths, sandy deserts, and other classic Mario Kart locations. Guide Mario through custom-designed racetracks that take shape with the help of the included gates and directional signs, and compete against virtual or real opponents. The gameplay also affects your real kart: for example, using a turbo mushroom temporarily boosts your kart's speed. Friends and family can join in multiplayer races with up to four participants. Each player will need their own kart, a Nintendo Switch console, and a copy of the software. Each package includes a kart with Mario as the driver, four gates, two directional signs, and a USB charging cable. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is available in two sets: the Mario set and the Luigi set.
