In Illumina City, a city development plan is underway! The aim of this plan is to create a place that Pokémon and humans can truly share together. Shortly after your arrival, you will choose one of these partner Pokémon to accompany you on your journey: Chikorita, Tepig, or Croconaw.

Together with your partner Pokémon, you can explore the streets of this vast city or visit wild areas—habitats where you will encounter wild Pokémon. If you want to catch one, you need to aim carefully and throw a Poké Ball at it, or you can use the Pokémon in your team to help you.
