With the NA-SFMA1 set, Noctua offers a bundle of two NA-FMA1 adapter frames. These allow 120mm fans from Noctua to be mounted on 140mm radiators or other 140mm fan brackets, such as in cases. The adapter frames are specifically designed for the NF-A12x25, Noctua's flagship fan, but are also compatible with the models NF-F12, NF-S12A, and NF-P12 redux. The powerful NF-A12x25 provides better performance in this configuration than some other 140mm fans.

Installation is straightforward using the original screws on the radiator or case. The connection of the fan frames with the fans is made using NA-AV4 anti-vibration mounts. This decoupling effectively prevents the transmission of vibrations. With the set, either a 280mm radiator can be equipped with two 120mm fans or a 140mm radiator in a push-pull configuration.
