The NM-i17xx-MP78 chromax.black mounting upgrade kit allows for the retrofitting of Noctua CPU coolers with a 78 mm mounting distance for Intel's LGA 1700 platform (LGA17xx family). The black-colored components of this chromax.black edition provide a subtle look in a uniform color. The set is also compatible with coolers that have been on the market for some time, contributing to the reduction of unnecessary waste and saving valuable resources.

Thanks to the square layout of the mounting holes on the LGA1700, it is possible to mount a cooler rotated by 90° using the NM-i17xx sets without any issues. This requires sufficient space and that no other components are obstructing the installation.
